Prayagraj Development Authority (PDA) has earmarked ₹4 crore to revive the Azad Park Lake. The restoration plan includes adding facilities and features to make it an attraction for visitors. The lake will be ready before the Maha Kumbh in Jan 2025.
Vadodara: The police on Wednesday arrested Alpesh Bhatt, the contractor who had supplied the boat that capsized in the Harni Lake killing 12 schoolchi.
Of the 20 accused in the case, police have arrested 13 so far, officials said. While one person booked in the FIR in the case has died, two SIT teams have been deployed outside Gujarat to hunt for the six accused at large.
