The Grand Forks Herald says Spirit Lake Nation in Devils Lake and the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin are bringing the lawsuit against the companies that own Facebook and Instagram, TikTok and Snapchat and Google and YouTube.
The Spirit Lake Tribe in North Dakota and the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin are accusing social media companies of contributing to the disproportionately high rates of suicide among Native American youth.
