Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL), a subsidiary of SAIL, is conducting a comprehensive mapping drive to address the issue of illegal occupancy in its 37,000 staff quarters. The initiative aims to identify and document illegally occupied, damaged, or vacant quarters to ensure a safer environment and prevent unlawful occupation. Residents have welcomed the drive, highlighting the importance of removing illegal occupants. The mapping exercise will provide BSL with vital information to tackle the ongoing problem effectively.
