AN Easter Ross running group stepped up its efforts in support of a Highland charity with a 24-hour relay run that prompted a great response.
Alness Jogscotland made the pre-Christmas effort on behalf of Mikeysline offering runners slots from midnight to midnight during which a virtual baton was passed from one to another.
All the slots were taken up by members keen to support the charity which provides a lifeline for people struggling with mental health issues.
