Orlando, Fla. – Holding gigantic green balloons spelling out “VEGAN,” a group of PETA supporters will gather in the Milk District in celebration of its rebranding as the “ Almond Milk District ” for “Veganuary.” They’ll march from the cow mural on the side of T.G. Lee Dairy through the neighborhood in order to encourage everyone to go vegan for Veganuary and beyond.

Robinson Street), Orlando “PETA is encouraging the ‘Almond Milk District’ to keep its animal-friendly new name permanently,” says PETA Executive Vice President Tracy Reiman. “A glass of almond milk is better for human health and the planet and prevents gentle cows from being treated as milk machines until their bodies give out.”
