The Pleasant Valley football team defeated cross-town rival Chico High 28-19 Saturday in the Northern Section Division II championship game, giving the Vikings their second straight NSCIF championship. The PV win came five weeks after the Panthers defeated the Vikings 35-0 in Almond Bowl 52.
