Artists from as far afield as Bermuda, Iceland, and Singapore will come to Wexford this summer to take part in the 17th annual Art in the Open festival. Running from July 20-28 the festival will see more than 200 artists, both national and international, arrive in the town for a week-long schedule of workshops, masterclasses, and outdoor painting events.
After a successful 2023 festival, Art in the Open’s team of volunteers has raised €3,535 for Wexford Women’s Refuge (WWR) which was the partner charity for this year’s event.
Wexford’s Art in the Open festival finished on a high note with a spectacular exhibition and an announcement of the winners in Green Acres Gallery during the August bank holiday weekend.

Booking has already almost reached capacity for this year’s Art in the Open festival with many return visitors and exciting new artists set to travel to Wexford in the summer from South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, Iceland and the UAE as well as the US, Canada, Europe and the UK.
