While a similar situation occurred earlier this season due to a COVID-19 outbreak within the program, this delay is due to undisclosed injury concerns. Cal was set to play both Oregon and Oregon State on Feb. 12 and Feb. 14, respectively. With these two games being postponed, the Bears will have had nine conference games postponed this season. The injury bug has decimated Cal’s depth this year the projected starting backcourt of sophomores Jazlen Green and Cailyn Crocker failed to touch the floor this season, and freshman guard Alma Elsnitz was lost for the year after just one game.
