ANGOLA — The medical field appears to be a popular pursuit for Angola High School’s 2021 graduates, attracting both valedictorian Allyson Ditmars and salutatorian Hannah Conley.
ANGOLA â Prairie Heights High School and Angola High School have one big thing in common this year: their valedictorians are cousins.
Angolaâs Allyson Ditmars and Prairie Heightsâs Haylee Henderson are the daughters of sisters Mary Ditmars and Rae Henderson, who come from the Lepley family.
Mary married Allyson s father, Eric Ditmars, and Rae married Haylee s father, James Henderson.Â
Allyson and Haylee have been good friends ever since they were little. After all, the two are only a month apart in age. Allyson was born on July 10, 2002, and Haylee followed soon after on August 9.
âThey would be on the couch talking, and nobody else mattered,â Mary said.
