PLAYERS of a new local lottery have an extra incentive to take part this weekend – as well as cash prizes, one lucky winner will scoop £1000 in Currys PC World vouchers. The Lucky Severn Community Lottery has been running for almost six weeks now, and has received a great amount of support from those within the community. It is a weekly online lottery which gives players a chance to win up to £25,000 while supporting good causes and local voluntary groups in their community. For this Saturday’s draw there is also the chance to win a £1000 Currys PC World voucher. Almost 2000 tickets have been sold which will currently raise £61,000 over the next 12 months for good causes in the Stroud district.
