Halloween is around the corner, and Montrealers are getting ready for the spookiest time of their lives. If you want to go beyond the quaint "trick-or-treat" tradition and party hard with your fellow monsters, there will be a massive "Karnavale" festival happening at New City Gas on October 28 from 10 p.m. until the witching hour (3 a.m.).The party will feature renowned DJs ACRAZE and Tony Romera as headliners, as well as emerging talents Dave Summit and Mekki.
Dog lovers and their furry friends have a good reason to feel excited this month. After a first edition in 2021 bringing together dozens of corgis and shibas dressed in their spooky season best, Montreal is hosting another 'PAW-lloween' costume contest at the Sir-Wilfrid-Laurier Dog Park on October 29 at 2 p.m.
The countdown to Halloween has officially begun and if you're already in the mood for some spooky and boozy hangouts with your crew then Montreal's 132 Bar Vintage is your go-to place. After a successful preview back in August, the award-winning Black Lagoon pop-up bar will be taking over the refined saloon in Ahuntsic for the whole month of October and you can expect an immersive 5 à 7 in a "creepy-as-hell" atmosphere.
