Commencement exercises for Jasper High School will be held at 7:30 Friday evening at the football stadium. According to Superintendent John Seybold, 151 seniors will be receiving diplomas.
KJAS News has learned that over $900,000.00 in scholarship funds have been awarded to Jasper graduates who plan to attend college, and the majority of them will be headed to Texas A&M University.Â
That includes Class of 2021 Valedictorian Allison Pool, and Salutatorian Macy Powers, both of whom plan to study at Texas A&M.
Allison Pool is the daughter of Chris and April Pool and sheâll be pursuing a Political Science degree as part of her ultimate goal to become an attorney.
