Opelousas Police: Shooting Suspect Arrested after Chase

A man wanted in a February shooting in Opelousas is now in jail after police say he was involved in a multi-parish car chase. Markentae Williams is accused of robbing a man at gunpoint on Patsy Street on February 23. Police say Williams, Deandra Weston, and Allie Roy stole a gun and cash from the victim before shooting him.
