Blizzard have officially announced that World of Warcraft Classic will expand with Burning Crusade Classic later this year, continuing the re-running of the original World of Warcraft experience through the first major expansion to the iconic MMORPG. Burning Crusade will be available at no extra cost to WoW Classic subscribers.

Burning Crusade originally launched in 2007, kicking off a new chapter to the Warcraft saga with the shattered realm of Outland which the Burning Legion, a vast army of demons that have been some of the recurring antagonists through the series, added to the game world. Players were also given two new races to play as: the Blood Elves on the Horde side and the Draenei to the Alliance.
