The San Francisco Parks Alliance is to inspire and promote Civic Engagement and philanthropy to protect the city and enrich San Francisco parks, recreation, and green open spaces. Today i think that youll find that the and rincon hill is no exception to that. You might know that back in the gold rush era, rincon hill where were standing right now was one of the poshest addresses in San Francisco. This was the place to be ~. And then Pacific Heights took over and rincon hill fell into decline. Then came the bay bridge and rincon hill really for decades was something of a back water. Well, look at it now. Were surrounded by highrise development, the president ial towers, built, getting built, and more of them planned. So, once again, rincon hill is one of the most sought after popular places to live in San Francisco. But where are the parks . Where are the Public Open Spaces . Where are the places where all of these thousands of residents can gather and reflect on the meaning of life and
I am so looking forward to the street fair tomorrow. It is in the mission, how are we going to get there . We are not driving. Well what do you suggest . There are a lot of great transportation choices in the city and there is one place to find them all, sfnta. Com. Sfmta. Com. It is the walking parking, and riding muni and it is all here in one place. Sitting in front of my computer waiting Transportation Options that is not exactly how i want to spend my saturday night. The new sfmta. Com is mobile friendly, it works great on a tablet, smart phone or a lap top, it is built to go wherever we go. Cool. But, lets just take the same route tomorrow that we always take, okay . It might be much more fun to ride our bikes. I am going to be way too tired to ride all the way home. Okay, how about this, we can ride our bikes there and then we can take muni home and it even shows us how to take the bikes on the bus, so simple right here on my phone. Neat. We can finish making travel plans over d
Cartoons. A big space. You can have everybody set up and barely move equipment around; small room for an audience to move around, walkover and get pancakes without getting burned up in the kitchen. Theres like people in their hardcore gabber; people into really fast death metal; black metal. People who dont listen to music at all. Guy like larnie bock sounds like set up huge, motor driven harp. I dont know how to explain it. 40 foot of motors that he had running over strings and wires. And then played each string individually with the mixer. There is a feeling of euphoria when somebodys really good at what they do. Experiencing a buffer, pushing your bowels out your rear. Different. A lot of noise. You dont play clubs with a cleaning schedule, a guy coming in the morning emptying the beer bottles. You play the warehouse. If you travel around you will see the exact same kind of weirdos doing their own thing. It is like in the bay area its even more absurd. There seems to be more people

We are here to learn more from one of the resident artists. Welcome to the show, deborah. Tell us how this Program Began 20 years ago. The Program Began 20 years ago. City officials heard about her efforts and they invited her to this facility. We thought it would coincide with our efforts to get folks to recycle, it is a great educational tool. Since then, we have had 95 professional artists come through. How has the Program Changed over the years . How has the program what can the public has an artist engage with . For the most part, we worked with metal and wood, what you would expect from a program like ours. Over the years, we tried to include arti
The chamber of commerce. I will tout the membership of the Community Benefits district and the businesses along the corridors that we want to improve. All of them are partners to help us figure out how to maintain all the infrastructure that we want to put in when we know that the goal is improve services for the residents. So, i suggest that it isnt necessarily going to be reflected in increase to the general fund. It could be healthy relationship with Business Community to help us maintain that. Yes. [speaker not understood]. Well, i think google is happy to do this for the reasons already touted. They agree with us that wifi in our parks is a very important, very notable, very honorable goal to accomplish. They stepped up as a member of sf city. Part of a whole group of Technology Partners that want to help our city improve our services. And i think that when Companies Step that up, just like other companies have done where they lend their employees to sweep our streets, to pick up
