Meek Mill just reloaded his clip in his continuous prison reform battle announcing that his REFORM Alliance Executive Board has appointed renowned criminal justice advocate Robert Rooks to serve as the organization’s new Chief Executive Officer. REFORM also elevated founding CEO Van Jones to join the Executive Board.
During Jones’ tenure as CEO, REFORM Alliance successfully passed a series of bipartisan legislative wins in several states across the country, including Assembly Bill 1950 in California. The probation reform bill will decrease the state’s probation population by 33 percent and give over 24,000 life years back.
