Police have arrested two people after carrying out raids at four properties.
Officers from Nottinghamshire Police executed the warrants on Wednesday, May 12 which resulted in two men aged 40 and 21 being arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to possess a firearm and conspiracy to possess ammunition contrary to the Firearms Act.

NEW YORK CITY A car theft came to violent end along a Queens street when a cop opened fire at the stolen vehicle, wounding one man, authorities said.
NYPD Chief of Patrol Juanita Holmes detailed the Sunday night incident in an early morning conference. The whole affair escalated as cops tracked down a stolen car and came into contact with two men inside, she said. As the officers exited the marked police vehicle, the suspects accelerated in reverse at a high rate of speed into a marked police van, said Juanita Holmes, NYPD s chief of patrol. One officer discharged his firearm and struck a 28-year-old male in the chest.
East Cleveland City Council president demands firing of police officer who shot teen during pursuit

EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio The president of the City Council is demanding that a police officer who shot and killed an 18-year-old male during a foot chase last week be fired.
Korean Stevenson pushed for the firing of Sgt. Larry McDonald on Wednesday in a letter to Mayor Brandon King. Stevenson points out in the letter that McDonald did not have his body camera activated when the shooting death of Vincent Belmonte occurred on Jan. 5.
“As a result of Sgt. Four displaced in Saratoga house fire

SARATOGA, Calif. - A house in southern Saratoga suffered major damage Sunday afternoon in a two-alarm fire, a Santa Clara County Fire spokeswoman said.
The fire in the 18000 block of Allendale Avenue, south of state Highway 85 and west of Quito Road, was reported at 3:21 p.m. Sunday, and firefighters arrived to see flames shooting through the roof, said Luisa Rapport, a fire department spokeswoman.
The fire was under control by 4:15 p.m., Rapport said, but firefighters expect to be on scene for a few more hours Sunday night.
