A violent night in the city of philadelphia, police are investigating two separate shootings, five people shot and rush to the hospital. Eyewitness News Reporter Syma Chowdhry has details on the investigation from police headquarters. Reporter police are investigating, two separate shootings that took place in different parts of the city leaving five people injured. It was a violent night as Police Investigate two shootings, first shooting happened just after midnight on the 5200 block of delancey street in the cobbs creek section. Of a possible ebola case here in our region. A patient at Howard University hospital was tested for the virus. Were still working right now to try to figure out those results. News 4s derrick ward meanwhile joins us live from the hospital. Derrick, what can we expect and learn later today . Well, we may learn more about the condition of the patient. Probably around noon as we hear from a spokesperson for the hospital. But you can say that the fears and concerns about ebola in our area as they stand right now have been cut by 50 . That is without knowing exactly the fate of the patient here at Howard University hospital. Now it was yesterday when we learned that a patient was admitted here in stable condition, exhibiting symptoms of the ebola virus. And that patient had indeed traveled to the country of nigeria and africa. So that patient has been admitted here. Tests are being run. The person is isolated and the cdc as well as the local Health Department were notified about this patien
