She wasnt afraid to use her brainpower, even during a time when women were not really expected to or accepted in that way. And when i think about my career at the Orlando Police department and the awesome opportunity of serving as the first woman chief of police, i believe that my ability to make it so far in a nontraditional role for women is a direct result of the work that Justice Ginsburg and other women like her did.
