Allen County Commissioners dismiss Child Services Board President
By Trevor Hubert - thubert@limanews.com
LIMA The Allen County Board of Commissioners moved to dismiss the President of the Allen County Children Services Board on Wednesday morning. All three commissioners voted to remove Nadia Lampton due to her conduct on social media, which was deemed inappropriate. All ACCS board members are appointed to their positions by the Allen County Commissioners.
“The appointments that we make to these boards, we tell them in interviews, and we can’t stress it enough that every board member that serves in this county through an appointment is an extension of the three of us,” said Commissioner Beth Seibert. “That’s why when this came to our attention, we had to take an action of consideration that brought us to today.”

That’s the average length of a first marriage in the United States, according to statistics that popped up on the ol’ computer from LawInfo.com, a Web site that’s full of information regarding the state of marriage today.
And did you notice? It’s talking “first marriage.”
More than half of today’s marriages end in divorce, the Web site said. Most people do give wedded life a second chance, but even then, the road to happiness is sprinkled with potholes. Second-timers stay married only 40 percent of the time. For those who give it a third shot, only 27% avoid strike three.
