KLANG: A 42-year-old father of five claimed trial at the Sessions Court here with 55 counts of incest with his daughter and nine counts of raping her friend. The man - who cannot be named to protect the identity of his daughter - pleaded not guilty to all 64 charges before judge Datin M. Kunasundary on Wednesday (Feb 24) He allegedly raped his daughter from April 2019 to Jan 2021 and her friend from Aug 2020 to Jan 2021. Both alleged victims were classmates and also worked at his sugarcane juice stall. If found guilty of the 55 charges under Section 376B (1) of the Penal Code for incest, he faces a maximum 30-year jail term and whipping for each charge.
