The last year has been one of the most stressful that Mississippians have ever faced.
The interface between our health, the health care system, the economy, education, and public health have been spotlighted in ways that we could never have imagined.
We have experienced days when we wished we had never heard about case investigation, epidemiology, vaccine efficacy or herd immunity. And yet, we have all depended on the information and diligence that our public health system and its partners have provided so that we could make choices about our health during the pandemic.
