A day after West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee alleged that she was attacked in Nandigram, several graffiti paintings appeared on walls in the area mocking the TMC chief.
Taking a dig at Mamata Banerjee, one of the slogans said, Her leg did not break, but surely her heart broke, that s why she left Nandigram and went back . Kalighat er moina, sotto kotha koyna (Kalighat s beloved does not speak the truth), read another painting.
Mamata Banerjee had suffered injuries on Wednesday after she was allegedly pushed by unknown people while campaigning for the assembly elections in Nandigram constituency, where she is pitted against her protege-turned-adversary Suvendu Adhikary of the BJP and Minakshi Mukherjee of the CPI(M).

KOLKATA: Soon after West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee filed her nominations from Nandigram constituency, she was severely injured outside a temple in Nandigram where she had stopped to offer prayers. She was rushed to the state-run SSKM hospital. Banerjee alleged that she was attacked by a group of four or five men outside a temple in Nandigram.
As per reports, a case has been registered in this regard, following a complaint lodged by the Trinamool Congress TMC leader Sheikh Sufian. A memorandum has also been submitted to the Election Commission of India (ECI), where the TMC party alleged a conspiracy against the CM.
