The pain of defeat. Vipers players were the reflection of dejection going down to Al Hilal at home before KCCA replicated the pitiable image when they scored enough to progress but couldn’t defend enough any way. Photos | File & Ismail Kezaala
Summary
A pack of cards. KCCA and Vipers fell tamely in the Caf engagements and even though the former might have excuses having been hampered by Covid-19 in the first leg, conceding a cheap goal is no excuse

Money rarely buys love and to some extent success, they say.
Ugandan football heavyweights KCCA and Vipers are back on drawing boards pondering the next move after their hefty investments yielded nothing in the Caf endeavours.
Results of the coronavirus detection test conducted on Uganda professional player Emmanuel Okwi of Al Ittihad Club of Alexandria before leaving his country showed that the player was infected and tested positive. The player had taken this test in preparation for returning to Egypt to join his team for training and matches, but the positive test has led to the postponement of his return to a later date. Our heartfelt wishes for a speedy recovery to our Ugandan striker Emmanuel.
Okwi was part of the Johnathan McKinstry-led charges who played South Sudan in Group B of the Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) qualifier.
