Provincial Fire Director Supt. Allan Eballar said the road caravan and other lined up activities aim to increase public awareness on the importance of fire prevention and to remind people of their responsibilities of protecting lives and properties against fire hazards.
With the theme “Sa Pag-iwas ng Sunog, Hindi Ka Nag-iisa”, the BFP intensifies its Oplan Ligtas Pamayanan through information and education campaign on fire prevention in fire-prone barangays and those with fire records; the conduct of inspection of establishments to check on their fire safety plans, and monitoring the implementation of Republic Act 9514 or the Fire Code of the Philippines, Eballar said,
