Update: Billboard has made the news official: The Killers’ “Wonderful Wonderful” debuts at #1 on this week’s Top Album Sales and Billboard 200 charts.
It tops the former with what Billboard reports as 111K pure US sales. The inclusion of TEA (track sales/10) and SEA (track streams/1500) yields a consumption tally of 118K, which is enough for #1 on the Billboard 200.
“Wonderful Wonderful” is the band’s first #1 album in the US.
Macklemore’s “Gemini” debuts at #2 on the Billboard 200 with 51K units, while Lil Uzi Vert’s “Luv Is Rage 2” falls one place to #3 with 45K.
