Babies should not be given pillows or soft blankets, since this can be dangerous for young children, and should instead be dressed in footed pajamas, one-piece blankets, or sleep sacks, according to the CDC.
According to the CDC website, “If you’re not able to keep your home warm, make temporary arrangements to stay elsewhere. In an emergency, you can keep your baby warm using your own body heat. If you must sleep, take precautions to prevent rolling on or smothering your baby.”
