Vanderbilt University isn’t known for its athletics. A common refrain during football season is that it’ll soon be basketball season. Then, when it’s basketball season, it’ll soon be baseball season. If baseball’s out of luck, then there’s always next year. The problem with this mentality is that there’s a successful program that starts its season.
