FEDERAL MP for Blair Shayne Neumann is urging residents to get the jab for the good of the country, regardless of his recent criticisms of the Federal Government’s slower than expected rollout of the Covid vaccine.
Mr Neumann said he was concerned by the number of phone calls received by his office from people who had expressed reluctance to be vaccinated due to worries over side effects or, in some cases, conspiracy theories.
He said he had been telling his constituents to go and get the vaccine as soon as they became eligible because the economy was reliant upon Australia ‘defending itself through vaccination.”

A handful of Brisbane Broncos big-name players are set to line up against the CQ Capras on Sunday.
Anthony Milford and Central Queensland’s own Corey Oates are late additions to the Souths Logan Magpies line-up, which already included Tom Dearden, Tesi Niu and Cory Paix.
The teams will face off in Round 8 of the Intrust Super Cup at 2.10pm Sunday at Browne Park.
The game will be streamed live on Kayo Freebies but the inclusion of the Broncos is sure to attract plenty of footy fans to Rockhampton’s rugby league headquarters. Anthony Milford in action with the Brisbane Broncos. Picture: Alix Sweeney

The upgrade to the Mt Crosby Rd interchange on the Warrego Hwy is the only major road project to get a mention in the budget.
