Former female employee sues restaurant chain, alleges she was forced to strip down to underwear

In a shocking incident, a former employee of US-based fast food restaurant chain Panda Express has alleged that she was asked by her employers to attend a “bizarre” self-improvement seminar that “quickly devolved into psychological abuse .
Washington Post reported that in her lawsuit the woman employee has claimed that she was forced to strip down to her underwear while attending Alive Seminars and Coaching Academy s self-improvement programs. The woman added that this happned in front of strangers as well as co-workers.

Jennifer Spargifiore worked at the Santa Clarita Panda Express from August 2016 till July 2019 when she was enlisted to take part in a “trust-building” activity. It was hosted by Panda Express in partnership with self-improvement consulting company, Alive Seminars, and Coaching Academy.

According to the civil complaint, the 23-year-old was informed by her manager that the Alive seminars were often “a prerequisite to promotion,” and attendees were even required to provide their work ID numbers so seminar fees “could be debited directly from their Panda Express employee accounts.”

Former Team Member, Jennifer Spargifiore, an ex California team member is coming forward about an incident tha took place in 2019.
Spargifiore said the event was provided by Panda Express, and ran by the team building events company, Alive Seminars and Coaching Academy. The former team member explained that these activities were usually prerequesites for promotion, according to NBC.

The Panda Express cashier had already been forced to strip to her underwear in front of her fellow staff during a self-improvement seminar in 2019, she said, and told to open up to the group about her vulnerabilities.
But when a male colleague broke down crying while trying to do the same, the session s leaders ordered her to go one step further: She had to hug it out with him, both of them still undressed, as others filmed her or ogled at her body, the 23-year-old employee in California said.
