Solano County supervisors have voted 4-1 to dissolve the county’s Historical Records Commission, in what critics term a “catastrophic” disservice to the public that should be reversed in order to preserve and protect a wealth of old documents. Supervisor Wanda Williams cast the lone vote against the dissolution motion that Records Commission Chair Alissa DeCaro described as a maneuver “crafted in misinformation” and buried at the end of Tuesday’s Board of Supervisors public agenda.
