梨山水蜜桃因今年乾旱、產量大減，又因疫情暫停觀光及市集活動，致果農擔心水蜜桃銷量，台中市和平區長吳萬福特別邀請台中市大和獅子會發起梨山水蜜桃社團企業認購，以實際行動力挺果農，原訂目標1000盒，在企業界等積極響應下，短短5天就達標，訂購逾2000盒，嘉惠果農。台中市大和獅子會連續6年響應台中市和平區「梨山森活節．水蜜桃的故鄉在梨山」水蜜桃企業認購活動，長期支持梨山水蜜桃，並號召中部企業及國際獅子會、同濟會、扶輪社、青商會四大社團各分會、各企業接力認購。
