It was revealed, during this time, Daryl had found a woman called Leah (Lynn Collins) living with her dog in a cabin. Despite their first meeting involving Leah aiming a shotgun at him, we learn that the pair developed a romantic connection.
However, this relationship ended after three months when Leah asked him to choose between continuing his search for the body of Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and her. He chose the former.
