And now theyre sluggishly moving nominations under a senate they control. And, mr. President its culminated in the irresponsible partisan blockade of president Obamas Supreme Court pick. Lets talk about some real numbers here. More than a year into this new congress more than a year into this new congress the Republican Leadership has allowed only 17 judges to be confirmed. Okay . How many months do we have here . We have 12 in the last year of this congress. We now have, were in the end of april, so thats four. And so thats 16 months. Its one a month. Reporter let me just sort of paint the picture. You see this boat turned up on its edge, and you can see in the background an entire debris field. What im going to do is take you out here to really show the power of this hurricane, and i suspect likely, although this is yet to be confirmed, a tornado. Let me step back here and just sort of look up at this boat warehouse here that was completely ripped and torn apart.
