Avex Pictures Schedules 2nd How Not to Summon a Demon Lord Anime Season Blu-ray Releases

© Yukiya Murasaki / Kodansha The summer 2018 anime series How NOT to Summon a Demon Lord saw its home video release handled by Avex Pictures and they set a short schedule for it and now with the new spring 2021 season. The twelve-episode series is set for a three-volume run on Blu-ray only where they’re priced at 9,900 yen each – which is cheaper than the 14,000 yen of the first season. The series begins its release on June 25th, 2021 and we have a look at the first cover artwork for it already. Check out the full details below. How NOT to Summon a Demon Lord 1st Season Gets 5-Minute Recap

With the show about to be here, the Japanese side has the official site updating with a five-minute recap piece to help people remember/understand the show ahead of the second season. Sadly, it’s not subtitled but it’s ideal for local distros to pick up and run with. It covers a lot of ground in the five minutes and just watching part of it reminded me how much I enjoyed the original run.

How Not To Summon A Demon Lord Anime Gets Hulu Expiration Set

© Yukiya Murasaki / Kodansha The anime adaptation of the first season of How NOT to Summon a Demon Lord light novels wrapped up quite a bit ago and the series showed up on Hulu previously with the simulcast and now the complete run of the show in its English dubbed form is available there as well. That’s been there for a couple of years now which means that it’s sadly time for it to move on. Hulu has now marked it for expiration within the just under two-week window which should be around April 10th, 2021. We do halfway expect this to get renewed of the second season begins simulcast distribution here as well as it would certainly entice new viewers into it. But if not, now is the time to wrap up your viewing on the service.

Avex Pictures Reveals How Not to Summon a Demon Lord Blu-ray Anime Box Set Packaging

The twelve-episode series is set for a three-volume run on Blu-ray only where they’re priced at 14,000 yen. The series began its release on September 28th, 2018. Recently, Avex pictures has put together a complete collection release that will arrive on February 24th, 2021 priced at 19,800 yen. The set looks to include a new bonus CD and what we saw with the previous releases and we now have the full packaging spread for it that looks great.

How NOT to Summon a Demon Lord 2nd Season Debuts New NSFW Visual & Audio

While that’s still a good bit away, the Japanese side has updated in a way that only Japan seemingly can. With a sexy new key visual released focusing on Shera, that alone would be enough. That it’s the first of four designs coming out over the next month ups the ante. But what does it in more? We get a tweet with a 3D stereo recording of her as played by Yu Serizawa talking to the listener a bit before drifint off to sleep so you can hear her soft coos and breathing.
