Researchers from the University of Copenhagen in Denmark and the Karolinska Institutet in Sweden have now determined how these cells are created and demonstrated that higher concentrations of memory killer cells in tumour tissue are associated with a higher survival probability for melanoma patients. Immunity, a publication, has published the work.
