Six Health and Social care students have been successful in getting paid roles working in vaccination centres. Anjeli Maharaj, aged 18, from Rubery, is joined by others being employed buy the Dudley Group of hospitals. The others are: Alice Mills-Adams, Thomas Pegg, Kiran Akhtar, Daniel Sault, and Charlotte Baker, aged 17 to 19 from Dudley and Sandwell. Charlotte said: “I applied so I could make some sort of contribution in helping other health care professionals fight against the disease.” Sarah Hale, from Halesowen College, said: “Thank you to all of these students – we are very proud of you! They will get some excellent experience which will definitely help them in future careers.”
