A CHILDCARE provider which operates across Tees Valley and North Yorkshire, is joining forces with national perinatal cancer charity, Mummy’s Star. Rosedene Nurseries has announced that it is offering a number of funded places across the region for the children of mums who are battling cancer, in addition to fundraising for the charity. Throughout December, Rosedene’s little stars will be trying to raise more than £1,300 for Mummy’s Stars through star-themed challenges. Events ranging from baking star biscuits, to sponsored star walks and virtual mindfulness sessions will be taking place across the nurseries for children and parents. The children will also be delivering the food hampers to those most in need, with donations from parents and Rosedene. The children who attend the Hardwick facility in Stockton will be visiting the local Butterwick Hospice to spread festive cheer.
