It s a big day for anyone who was really into television in the late 2000s/early 2010s.
First we learned there s going to be a True Blood reboot, and now TVLine reports that Paramount+ (currently known as CBS All Access) has ordered a revival of iCarly, featuring original series stars Miranda Cosgrove, 27, Nathan Kress, 28, and Jerry Trainor, 43.

There is no indication if filming is under way yet, or when the revival will air on Paramount +, which was rebranded earlier this month from CBS All Access.

The revival was first announced in early December, with Cosgrove, Kress and Trainor all revealed to reprise their roles.
No story details were revealed, and it wasn t clear if other stars from the original series like Jennette McCurdy (Sam Puckett) or Noah Munck (Gibby) would return.

The beloved Nickelodeon show iCarly is making a comeback and series star Miranda Cosgrove shared the first look at the newly reunited cast.
Cosgrove, who starred as Carly Shay on the sitcom, shared a sweet behind-the-scenes snap with fellow co-stars Nathan Kress and Jerry Trainor. Prepare yourselves, he advised. Trainor, 44, played Cosgrove s on-screen older brother, Spencer.
School of Rock, will develop the reboot.
He ll work alongside Ali Schouten, whose previous works include
Diary of a Future President and
Merry Happy Whatever.
The original series
Nickelodeon however, cut ties with the creator in 2018.
As quoted by Deadline, it followed, an investigation into complaints about alleged misconduct.
The series follows the story of a group of best friends who create their own web show called
iCarly.
They film from the apartment loft Carly lives in with her older brother Spencer.
Sam, Carly and Freddie must juggle their teen lives with their newfound fame as the show becomes an internet phenomenon.
