وصاحبنا الذي نوثق له، دكتوراه في هندسة النفط، وعمره اليوم ثمانون عاما بالتمام والكمال، وهو النجل الرابع للجواهري الخالد. غادر العراق عام 1959 بعد ان امضى سنة دراسية كاملة في كلية العلوم ببغداد، ليلتحق بزمالة دراسية الى الاتحاد السوفياتي، وفي باكو تحديدا، عاصمة اذربيجان، واكمل فيها على مدى عشرة اعوام الدراسة الجامعية والعليا..، وليتزوج هناك من زميلة دراسته (آنيــا) وليعودا بعدها سوية الى العراق مع ابنتهما (ناديا) (1) الى العراق عام 1970..
