Katara International Arabian Horse Festival a huge success

Doha: The Katara International Arabian Horse Festival successfully concluded yesterday. 12 countries participated in the glamorous horse show.
The festival was organized under the patronage of Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani by the Katara Cultural Village in cooperation with Qatar Equestrian Federation, Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club, and Qatar Foundation.
General Manager of Cultural Village Foundation - Katara, Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti, received the Minister of Culture and Sports, H E Salah bin Ghanem Al Ali, and many ambassadors who visited the event yesterday. Al Sulaiti said, “After the Katara International Arabian Horse Festival, which included the Title Show prizes, we can only say that we have succeeded. Thanks to God for presenting the Festival in the best way.”

Doha: The Katara International Arabian Horse Festival will conclude its activities and qualifiers today with the awarding of winners.
Minister of Justice and Acting Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, H E Dr. Issa bin Saad Al Jafali Al Nuaimi; Minister of Finance H E Ali Shareef Al Emadi and a number of ambassadors visited the festival yesterday.
Chairman of the Organising Committee and General Manager of the Cultural Village Foundation Katara Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti honoured the festival’s sponsors, namely Nasser Bin Khaled Group (Diamond Sponsor), Ali Bin Ali Group (Diamond Sponsor), Ahli Bank (Exclusive Sponsor), Vodafone (Communications Partner), and Qatar Airways among others.

Details of Katara International Arabian Horse Festival, which is organized under the patronage of Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, were announced during a press conference yesterday.
The first edition of the Festival will be held on Katara Beach from February 2 to 6 with a wide international participation in one of the highest beauty contests for purebred Arabian horses, with prizes worth QR13m.
The Festival will be held amidst COVID-19 precautionary measures to ensure the safety of the participants and the masses, in coordination with the Ministry of Public Health.
