Nobody can force us out of South-West –Miyetti Allah

• Criminal herdsmen must leave S’West, YCE, OPC insist Fulani herdsmen under the aegis of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore have vowed to resist any eviction from the South-West, citing their rights as enshrined in the Nigerian constitution to live wherever they desire. Miyetti Allah also vowed to avenge the alleged attacks on and loss of herdsmen and their cattle, saying it would never tolerate any act of injustice on herders. The National Secretary of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, Mr Alhassan Saleh, stated these against a backdrop of the eviction notices issued to criminal herdsmen by some South-West groups and personalities.

The governors and the MACBAN in the communique issued after their meeting on Monday agreed to support the Governor Rotimi Akeredolu’ s order on ban on night grazing,  under-age grazing,  movement of cattle along the highway and within the cities and herdsmen moving out of the forest reserves.

Ondo Amotekun reads riot act to herdsmen, says registration will be total On By Dayo Johnson – Akure The Commander of the Ondo State Security Agency (Amotekun Corps), Mr Adetunji Adeleye, has said that herdsmen in government forest reserves who failed to register within the stipulated time will face the consequences. Adeleye promised that herdsmen who does not have a genuine business in the state would not be registered This is coming as the herders trooped out to register as directed by the state governor, Rotimi Akeredolu. Adeleye said the registration will assist the government to know and separate genuine herders with genuine motive of doing business in the state from criminal elements.
