A bit of Wawa history lives on in its public library as it now showcases some furniture from the Eagle’s Nest.
The Wawa Public Library is now home to three chairs, an ottoman and two end tables – furniture that once belonged to the Eagle’s Nest, the name given to the home built by Sir James Dunn, former chairman and president of Algoma Steel Corp. (ASC).

“It’s wonderful and we’re very proud to have it here,” said head librarian Colleen Abbott about the furniture, now being used for a reading nook in the library.
