JOB1, the American Job Center, is bringing its neighborhood job fairs to Algiers. On Wednesday, December 6th from 10 AM – 1 PM, job seekers can get connected to employers offering high-wage, high-demand jobs. In partnership with Councilmember Freddie King, III, the event will feature a variety of employers, training providers, resource partners, on-site interview opportunities, and more. The event will be held at Algiers Auditorium in Federal City, 2485 Guadalcanal Street.

Black Tie Literary Awards Gala will be held on the evening of December 4th, 2021 at the Algiers Auditorium in New Orleans, LA in honor of the legacy of Big Chief Donald Harrison, Sr. and his beloved wife, Mrs. Herreast J.
