A student is cooperating with police after one of their classmates was shot outside of Alger Middle School Tuesday, according to Grand Rapids Public Schools.
Bianca Bridgeforth is an active parent at Alger Middle School, she says. Her son, Javeon Childrey, was hit by a gunshot during school hours on Tuesday.
