Tractor Trailer Hits Bridge in Norwalk
There is a big bridge in South Norwalk, CT at the intersection of Washington and Main. Next to the bridge are several signs that say 11 -2. That means the lowest part of the bridge is eleven feet and two inches from the ground.
This concept was far too much for a tractor trailer driver to comprehend. Recently, this photo was posted to Reddit s Connecticut page.
I would not be a good tractor trailer driver, I know it.
But, this is not a mistake I d make. You see, there are signs that tell you how tall this bridge is and you should know how tall your truck is. In fact, it s probably the first thing you learn on Day 1 of doing this job.
