Bouncy castles, a Punch and Judy show, face painting and a motorbike display were just some of the events laid on to cater for every taste. The Ulverston school grounds and classrooms were a hive of activity as children, mums and dads, grandparents and teachers soaked up the sunshine. There was even a special TV room made available for football fans who did not want to miss the cup final. It was the 14th summer gala organised by the Primary Association, a parent and teacher group that represents both junior and infant schools.
