Dr Alfred Dawes
Fears that vaccines now being manufactured for the coronavirus (COVID-19) can’t be safe because they are being developed too quickly have been dispelled by prominent Caribbean surgeon, Dr Alfred Dawes.
In stating that coronavirus is not new, Dawes said it is more deadly than other severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) diseases of recent years, while positing that vaccines should not be seen as a panacea to getting back to a state of normality.
He has also debunked the many conspiracy theories making the rounds on social media, that the vaccine was being forced on the population because it was part of a ‘new world order’.
