It ll be an even happier Christmas for nursing home residents and service users at St Aidan s after close to 100 gift bags were delivered to them this week.
A group of Santa s little helpers in the locality managed to make a little magic happen and on Friday, personalised gift bags were delivered for all 26 residents at St Aidan s to enjoy.
On Monday, the 70 residents at Oakfield nursing home in Courtown received their gift bags, while other volunteers made sure to cater for residents at Valentia Nursing Home in Camolin and Middletown House in Ardamine.
Kelly Hennessy explained that locals gathered at Tesco car park to collect and drop off bags of gifts, and although the appeal only started on Tuesday of last week, by Thursday, 76 gift bags were ready to go.
