Netflix has some good news for fans of the Winx Club. The streaming giant has renewed the live-action Fate: The Winx Saga for a second season.
The first season only consisted of six episodes and Netflix will expand the number of episodes for the second season.
Fate: The Winx Saga renewed for Season 2
Fate: The Winx Saga Season 1 hit Netflix in January, so this is a quick renewal for the streaming service. It means that the early viewing numbers were big enough to warrant more of the series, despite lukewarm reviews.
In an exclusive chat with E! News, Precious Mustapha sounded off on the success of Fate: The Winx Saga, the similarities to The Vampire Diaries and more.

Warning: The following contains spoilers for “Riverdale,” “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” and “Fate: The Winx Saga.”
In late January 2021, “Riverdale” debuted the first episode of its fifth season on The CW. The show, based on the characters from the famous “Archie Comics,” follows the strange, tumultuous lives of Archie Andrews (KJ Apa), Betty Cooper (Lili Reinhart), Veronica Lodge (Camila Mendes) and Jughead Jones (Cole Sprouse). The trailer for this season promised the group’s long-awaited graduation from Riverdale High School and a jolting timeline that leaps seven years into the future: Archie is in the army, Betty works for the FBI, Jughead is a published author and Veronica…is married.

Viewers are also waiting for the character Brandon to be cast in a second season and they took to Reddit to discuss.
One said: I imagine Froy Gutierrez would be good as Brandon, but he would look too young compared to current Stella. I think Ross Lynch would do justice for Brandon, he did great for Harvey Kinkle, he totally delivered Harvey s well-known innocence and naivety, but sadly that Netflix version did his character real dirty.
Fans would have also noticed the difference in costumes between the two series.
In the original Winx Club, the fairies all wear sparkling costumes and their wings are much more prominent.
